Still-Life, Figurative, & Landscape Painting
Andrea Orr Clague was trained traditionally at Pensacola Christian College and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2009. Andrea is a member of the Oil Painters of America and the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society. In 2010, she was chosen for Southwest Art Magazine’s annual “21 Under 31” feature, and her painting was selected for the issue’s cover. In 2012, the artist received the Grand Prize Award in the Scottsdale Salon of Fine Art. Andrea’s work reveals her fascination with light and the elusive beauty it bestows upon seemingly ordinary objects. Andrea is thankful for the ability to paint and gratefully counts it as a gift from her heavenly Father. As she develops her art, she aspires to glorify God and draw others to see His goodness and the wonder of His love. Andrea and her husband, artist Adam Clague, currently live and paint near Kansas City, Missouri.
